that is the front of the law offices here of mayor osby davis. if you look up you can see his name on the big marquis. a great deal of damage done to that front office and investigators were on the scene trying to figure out exactly how that fire started in the first place. crews have spotted the fire here at 1:30 this morning and say when they arrived, there was an intensifier in the waiting room area and smoke filling the entire building. crews tell me they were able to confine the fire to that waiting area but again, there is extensive smoke damage throughout the building. mayor osby davis was here earlier this morning, as his law office burned, as was michael thompson. we talked with him earlier this morning and he tells k.t.v.u. he is devastated by the fire. at this point in time firefighters are saying the fire may have been started intentionally. >> at 1:30 in the morning, if there is, you know, usually business hours, if it is closed like that, that would make it suspicious to us. so that's why we call out an investigator. >> reporter: no
